Noun (नाम)
Noun म्हणजे काय?
व्यक्ती, वस्तू, ठिकाण, प्राणी, भावना, गुण किंवा कोणत्याही गोष्टीचे “नाव” दर्शवणारा शब्द म्हणजे Noun.
उदाहरण: Ram, City, Teacher, Water, Honesty
सारांश: Noun म्हणजे ज्याला आपण नाव देऊ शकतो ते.

१. Proper & Common Noun
Proper Noun: विशिष्ट नाव. उदा. India, Ram, English
Common Noun: सामान्य नाव. उदा. City, Teacher, Girl

- Gold (सोने)
- Water (पाणी)

Countable & Uncountable Nouns
Countable Noun (मोजता येणारे)
Examples: pen, apple, student, chair
Articles -> a/an/the वापरू शकतो.
Uncountable Noun (न मोजता येणारे)
Examples: water, rice, sugar
Articles -> Articles → a/an वापरायचा नाही.
Important Exam Rules for Noun Usage
✔ Rule 1: Collective noun takes singular verb
- The army is ready.
- The committee has decided.
✔ Rule 2: Uncountable nouns plural होत नाहीत

✔ Rule 3: Certain nouns always plural
- ✔ trousers

Verb → plural घेतील
My trousers are new.
